History
The Cowichan Golf Club first played on a 1922 nine-hole site in Duncan, where the mall now stands, and then moved to its present site on the Trans-Canada Highway. A.V. Macan designed the new nine-hole layout, which former Premier John Hart opened on August 21, 1949. A second nine opened on June 25, 1989, making it an 18-hole course.
