History

Nobleton Lakes opened as an 18-hole course in the mid-1970s, in King Township north of Nobleton. One directory credits René Muylaert with the design. Construction of a nine-hole expansion by Doug Carrick began in 2001, and the new nine opened on June 29, 2002. The club now plays as three nines: the Woods (the old front nine), the Lakes and the View, which mix the old back-nine holes with new ones. The club was certified in the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program in 1997.
