History

Sturgeon Point Golf Club opened in 1899 on the Sturgeon Point peninsula on Sturgeon Lake, between Fenelon Falls and Bobcaygeon, in the Kawartha Lakes. The nine-hole course was redesigned in the early 1950s by C.E. "Robbie" Robinson, a protégé of Stanley Thompson. It operates as a not-for-profit club open to members and green-fee players, with a log clubhouse overlooking the lake.
