History
The club was organized in 1902 as the Charlottetown Golf Club, leasing 110 acres in Belvidere Woods on the edge of Charlottetown, and its nine-hole course opened in 1903; it bought the land and incorporated as the Belvedere Golf Club in 1907. A second nine was added in 1929, and land bought from the government in 1960 was used for new holes that replaced three which became practice ground. Graham Cooke renovated the course around 1999.
