History
Green Gables Golf Club was designed by Stanley Thompson in 1939, with Robbie Robinson overseeing construction, and was built as a visitor attraction for Prince Edward Island National Park beside the Green Gables House in Cavendish. The layout was modified piecemeal in the 1980s, and in 2008 Thomas McBroom restored it using Thompson's original plans. It is an 18-hole, par-72 public course that also sells seasonal memberships.
