History
Donalda Club was built on part of David Dunlap's Donalda Farm in the Don Valley in North York, and the farmhouse became the clubhouse. The club opened on November 26, 1960; the first nine holes opened in 1961 and all 18 were in play by June 1962, designed by golf professional Jimmie Johnstone (some sources also credit Robbie Robinson). Thomas McBroom redesigned the course in 1993–94 and came back in 2013–14 to rebuild all the greens to USGA standards.
