History

Shaw-Nee Slopes was an 18-hole, par-70 semi-private course in southwest Calgary, next to Fish Creek Park. It opened in 1965 to a design by Ernie Tate and Pete Olynyk, and R.F. Moote & Associates redesigned it in 2002–03. The course closed on 2 October 2011, and Cardel and Genstar later turned the land into Shawnee Park, a residential development of about 1,700 homes.
