History

The club held its first meeting on August 15, 1929, and within two weeks bought the 107-acre Ezra Neff farm on Morgans Point Road for $8,500. George Cumming and Melville Miller laid out the first nine holes, and six of those holes are still played today. The member-owned club grew to 18 holes in 1964; R.F. (Bob) Moote and Associates are credited with designing the current course.
