History
Pine Valley Golf Club was a golf course in Woodbridge, Ontario, owned by the estate of the late Jack Bailey when Gil Blechman, Harvey Kalef and Irv Hennick bought it in 1972. Together with three neighbouring farms, the land was cleared starting in May 1973, and George and Tom Fazio built a new course over the old one. That course opened in 1975 as The National Golf Club of Canada, and the entrance road along its 16th and 17th fairways is still called Pine Valley Drive.
