History

Northwood Golf & Country Club was a golf course near the corner of Jane Street and Sheppard Avenue West in the former Township of North York, in what is now the Downsview area of Toronto. The land was later developed during North York's postwar suburban growth. Today, Northwood Park (1750 Sheppard Ave W) uses the name. The old clubhouse at 15 Clubhouse Court opened as the Northwood Community Centre in 1981.
