History
Cherry Hill Club was founded in 1922 by a group of Buffalo, New York residents who had summer homes on Lake Erie's Canadian shore; they bought two farms near Ridgeway and hired Walter J. Travis to design an 18-hole course, which saw its first full rounds in 1924. Robbie Robinson upgraded the course before the club hosted the 1972 Canadian Open for its 50th anniversary, and Ian Andrew restored the bunkers in 2009 to bring back Travis's original design. The club is known for having one of the most intact sets of original Travis greens.
