History
The club was founded in 1893 as a nine-hole course in Moore Park, then moved in 1909 to its current site along the Don River valley, where Tom Bendelow laid out the course. Donald Ross was brought in to redesign it starting in 1919, and the work took about three years. Rosedale hosted the Canadian Open in 1912 and 1928, and John Fought later restored the course using a 1939 aerial photograph.
