History
Kirkland Lake Golf Club was established in 1932 to serve the northern Ontario gold-mining town of Kirkland Lake; some sources give 1930. It is an 18-hole, par-72 public course of about 6,100–6,200 yards, located on Golf Course Road near Dane, south of the town. The club is run by Kirkland Lake Golf Club Ltd. and holds local events such as the Labour Day tournament.
