History
Rouge Hills Golf and Country Club Limited bought the land in 1948. It sat in what was then Pickering Township, in the area now called West Rouge, near Port Union, and a converted barn served as its clubhouse. The club and course closed in 1973, and the land became a housing development between Rouge Hills Drive and Ridgewood Road in Toronto's West Rouge neighbourhood.
