History
The course was designed by A.V. Macan on provincial land near the University of British Columbia. It opened in 1929 as Westward Ho Golf Links, with the clubhouse and full 18 holes formally opened in 1930, and later took the name University Golf Club. It is now owned and operated by the Musqueam Indian Band. A phased renovation by Alex Hay of Lobb + Partners began in 2024 and reworks the sixth and seventh holes.
