History
Burnaby Mountain Golf Course is owned by the City of Burnaby. It was built in the late 1960s at the foot of Burnaby Mountain and opened in 1969 as Burnaby's first championship-length public course. It was designed by B.C. Sports Hall of Famer Ernie Brown, though some course directories credit a Robinson instead. The city still runs it under Golf Burnaby as an 18-hole, par-71 course with a two-tier lit driving range.
