History
Calgary golfers formed the club in 1912 on land from the Riley family near 24th Street and 7th Avenue NW, and it officially opened in May 1913. It was an 18-hole course with sand greens and was public at times and private at others. Membership fell from 1942 and the course closed in 1945. The land was later developed as the residential neighbourhood of St. Andrews Heights, with construction starting in 1953.
