History
The LaSalle Golf & Country Club was in LaSalle, now a borough of Montreal, along the St. Lawrence River near the Lachine Rapids. Its land ran from just west of today's rue Raymond east to boulevard Bishop-Power, with the old route of boulevard LaSalle (now the riverside bike path) on its southern edge. The club closed in the 1960s and the land was built over. The town of LaSalle kept a wide strip on the south side as a riverside linear park, and a small park on the old clubhouse site now holds a modern sculpture.
