History

The club was formed in 1922 on the former Mole estate beside the Fraser River in south Vancouver. Its first nine holes opened in 1923. The professional David Ayton reworked them and added a second nine, and the full 18 opened on May 24, 1924. The layout was shaped further by the professional Duncan Sutherland in the 1930s and 1940s, and the course has hosted the 1954 Canadian Open and the 2003 Canadian Women's Open.
