History
Founded by Gerry Chamberland and friends, who bought 118 acres east of Rockland in 1960 and built the first nine (today's South) themselves from a National Golf Foundation how-to book, opening it in 1961. After buying another 35 acres in 1963, the club opened its second nine, the West, in spring 1964. South and West made up the main 18-hole layout, which co-hosted the 2012 Canadian Amateur. The club, long known as Club de golf Outaouais, now has 27 holes after Paul Takahashi's East nine opened in 2003.
