History
The club was founded in 1908 as a hunt club and took up golf after merging with the Ottawa Motor Club in 1919, first playing on a temporary nine-hole course. Willie Park Jr. laid out the permanent 18 holes in 1920, and Bryant White added a third nine in 1959. Tom McBroom renovated all 27 holes in the early 1990s, and Michael Hurdzan carried out a major renovation of the courses and practice facility that was completed in 2015.
