History
Harold M. Saddlemire built the course for the members-only Seigniory Club at Montebello. Stanley Thompson designed it around 1929 and it opened in 1931, laid out over rolling, wooded ground on the southern slope of Mont Westcott. It later became the golf course of the Château Montebello resort, which is open to the public, and in 1998 it was named an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.
