History
The club's founding board bought Liliwood Farms and a neighbouring farm, 135 acres near Port Carling, in 1919 and hired Stanley Thompson to design the course. It is thought to be his first solo design. Building started in 1920 and the course opened on August 26, 1922. In 1976 the club bought another 76 acres next door for a practice area and more tennis courts, and the par-70 layout has since been renovated by C.E. "Robbie" Robinson, Thomas McBroom and Doug Carrick.
