History
Founded by Maurice Cardinal and Léopold Benoit as the Club de golf Sainte-Dorothée, the course opened with nine holes in May 1955 and was expanded to 18 holes in 1958. It took the name Le Cardinal in 1968 when Cardinal became sole owner, and later added a driving range and a par-3 course; the clubhouse was destroyed by fire in 2013. Groupe Quorum bought the land in 2017, and the par-3 course and range are being redeveloped for housing, while the 18-hole course stays open.
